悠悠的扁擔 深深的情
During my childhood in Taichung (台中), there was a vendor waiting outside of our math tutors home. He was carrying two bamboo baskets with his 扁擔 Bian Dan (bamboo shoulder poles) holding pigs blood soup (豬血湯) and fish ball soup (魚丸湯). While he was shouting for us to stop and buy a bowl of soup, we would gather around his Bian Dan stand and enjoy our soup. That was the best pigs blood soup I have ever tasted. Till today I still miss the Bian Dan soup, and the strong memories will remain forever.
